We are Daniele and Ana Lía, a married couple living and doing ministry in the city of Verbania in the North of Italy.
God has called us to New Life Church Verbania, place where we serve God and His people through worship and youth ministries. Our desire is to know Jesus and make Him known, and we want you to be a part of our journey!
We firmly believe God is bringing revival to the Italian people, and He is doing so through the youth, a generation of people who will be so radically in love with Jesus and His ways that it will cause a shift in the culture and bring God’s kingdom to Earth here.
God’s love for the Italian people and His church in Verbania is the fire fueling our calling, and we are certain that your prayers can play a big part in the revival He will bring to His people in this city.

Hello! My name’s Lia
I was born and raised in Santiago, Dominican Republic daughter to a Dominican mom and Peruvian dad.
When I was a baby, my mother founded Oasis Christian School, a place that would become like home to me. I grew up in church where my dad was the pastor so I always embraced the idea of living in community and spending and sharing our time with whoever needed it the most. Our house would always be full of people growing up…and we learned to love that.
In 2014, right as I was sure I wanted to be a dentist, God shook my life around and called me to be a teacher instead. I started teaching and God showed me His fatherly patience and unconditional love through my job.
Serving in church I started seeing the power and potential that there is in being a Christian who completely surrenders time and talents for the kingdom of God.
In 2019, God called me to Italy to be an English teacher. Completely unexpected and absolutely life-altering. For the better, of course. In May of that year I moved to Milan and during the first week of my arrival, I met Dani. My husband. God’s plans are so much better, higher, sweeter than we can ever imagine, and my life’s goal is to preach this:

Hi, I am Dani
I am a 29 year-old photographer and freelancer and married to my amazing wife, Lia. I was born in England where my parents served in church back in 1994. When I was 5 years old, my dad was called to serve in Verbania, a small town in northern Italy right on the border with Switzerland. At the time, there was a group of five ladies in need of a pastor and a church. Growing up seeing my parents’ devotion to God sparked in me a desire to serve my local church, and, even though doors opened for me to experience the church in other countries, I always knew that Italy was the mission field God was calling me to.
Being a pastor’s kid, my siblings and I had always been involved in service – from playing on Sunday mornings to dancing at summer camps – but it was in 2016 that God ignited in me a desire to work in worship ministry after finishing a three-month worship internship in Oregon, US.
Around the end of 2018 I decided to prepare myself for whatever it was that God had in store for me, and I went to Bible College, a truly memorable experience where I was challenged to know God in a completely new way. As part of my studies, my class and I moved to Jerusalem for three months. Walking where Jesus had walked and seeing where He’d lived made me aware of the things I had yet to learn and, when I came back to Italy, I immediately enrolled in university to pursue a college degree in theology.
The time was June 2019 when I was coming back from Jerusalem, around the same time Lia had just arrived to Italy, and that’s when we met. We got married in 2021, and, ever since, we’ve been serving our church leading the youth group, worship team, a lifegroup, and teaching Bible Studies. Our hearts’ desire is to see this generation give their lives to Jesus and live a life of radical surrender to Him!
